⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely AMAZING! I honestly don’t even know where to begin because there are no words to fully describe how incredible this food was! Two days later, I’m still thinking about it, salivating, and wishing I had moreβ€”and I’m all the way in North Carolina! πŸ˜‚ I wish they could ship me a plate! The jerk chicken was seasoned to absolute perfection. It was juicy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spiceβ€”not overpowering, but enough to give you that authentic jerk flavor. And the jerk chicken wings? MOUTHWATERING! Every bite was packed with flavor. The rice and peas had that subtle coconut flavor that took it to another level. Absolutely delicious! And the bok choy… OH. MY. GOODNESS. 🀀 I genuinely don’t have the words. It was so flavorful and perfectly prepared that I could have eaten it by itself. And I cannotβ€”and I mean CANNOTβ€”leave out the peach cobbler. Simply divine! Sweet, comforting, and the perfect way to finish an already unforgettable meal. This wasn’t just dinnerβ€”it was an experience. Every single dish had so much flavor, love, and care in it. If you’re anywhere near this restaurant, GO! You will not regret it. Five stars aren’t enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I need them

They recently catered my cousin’s event, β€œHue’s of U”; the food was amazing. Loved everything, especially the rice and plantain. The jerk chicken was tasty even without barbecue sauce. Next time I fly into NJ, I’ll stop by.

Lie for a little coin. Nothing vegan. In mid June 2026, I was in the area and decided to seevwhat was offered for vegans. The young girl behind counter went to the back to check. I was specific. They lied. I asked on purpose. She stated we(my child and I) could eat the djon djon rice or rice and peas. We chose rice and peas that time. I was in the are July 12th. I decided this day, I might try the djon djon rice. Another lady was behind the counter. I always ask if anything is vegan because you never know how a dif chef will prepare dish. She said the chef told her nothing is vegan. I went with someone else 2 weeks later as they were able to eat there as vegetarian. Asked again. Nothing vegan. I am just tired of people hiring people without training them. Or were the numbers low for that day so they had to make up for the day(eventhough it appeared busy). Btw, I did feel funny when I got home to eat. However, I drank a soda with it. I thought it could have been the soda(a lot of sugar)as I rarely drink that. Be careful. People don't care and will tell a story for $13+.

I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas and was disappointed, especially for the $38 price point. The dish was much saltier than expected, including the cabbage. The sweet plantains and rice were enjoyable, but overall the meal did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, I'll not be ordering from here again.

Food was so DELICIOUS! I was so hungry, waiting at the dentist and googled food near by. I said "oh, I could go for some jerk anything." This should be good- And it was! They had lunch specials (11am-3pm). My daughter ordered the jerk chicken lunch special and swapped out her rice for Mac and cheese. She said the Mac had a funny, weird aftertaste. I ordered the oxtail egg rolls - ON POINT! I probably ate half of it b4 even leaving the restaurant. Everything is so authentic and fresh. The cabbage was fresh. The plantains tasted like Heaven. I got an OXTAIL DINNER W/White rice, cabbage and plantain. It was so good, melting in my mouth. Every bite! Then there was a special sauce that you could dip your egg roll into and I never tasted a homemade sauce so good! It went right with the oxtail egg roll. Then, I ordered the jerk chicken gyro! I could go without the cabbage in the gyro, but overall it was pretty good! I may have to ask them next time to hold the cabbage in the gyro. It also came with French fries. Not bad. They give napkins and utensils. I admire that. Alot of restaurants in Elizabeth sometimes forget to give you that! Or you have to ask for it, when you shouldn't because
